During the 2022 election, Rashida Tlaib’s Rooted in Community Leadership PAC donated more than $128,000 to progressive candidates and organizations.

 

In Michigan, that support translated to victories in the state legislature, governor’s office, and state Supreme Court―giving Democrats a trifecta that has resulted in bills to protect abortion rights and pass critical gun safety legislation.

 

As we elect more candidates who are rooted in community, we’re seeing massive opposition from corporate and right-wing interests that are invested in maintaining the unjust status quo.
